Job Summary:
1.Identify and develop new business, prepare proposals, negotiate prices and perform account management with existing business base. 2.Maintain customer records, sales forecasts and publish call reports. 3.Meet of exceed the financial/sales goals for Fairfield Manufacturing 4.Account management- especially large accounts 5.Representative training and development 6.Monitor and drive daily and monthly sales for Fairfield Manufacturing Co. Qualifications:
1.Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or equivalent in experience. Degree in Engineering preferred. 2.Minimum of three years direct sales experience 3.Highly self motivated and results oriented individual 4.Selling, negotiations and closing skills and ability to influence decision making at all levels or an organization. 5.Professional verbal and written communications skills 6.Experience in mobile equipment, construction machinery, hydraulic fluid power and power transmission markets or related experience with similar technical products. 7.Direct related experience in gears and gear boxes a plus. 8.Familiar with Microsoft Office products

Materials Process Engineer

Job Summary:
Major Responsibility – Serve as the primary technical resource involving all matters related to product painting, packaging, and preservation. Position Requirements: •Paint Processes – Interpret and understand customer and industry standards. Establish and maintain procedures, processes and systems to control all aspects of preparation, masking, and wet-on-dry painting process for gearbox assemblies. •Packaging Processes – Establish and maintain specifications for packaging of gear components and assemblies using both returnable and non-returnable containers for delivery to both domestic and international shipping destinations. •Preservation – Establish and maintain methods & products to effectively preserve product during internal processing, delivery to its intended destination, and subsequent storage. •Cleanliness – Interpret and understand customer and industry standards for product cleanliness. Establish and maintain systems and procedures for meeting cleanliness requirements of gear components and assemblies in preparation for processes such as heat treatment, plating, coating, non-destructive testing, assembly, painting, and shipping. •Material Handling – Establish and maintain effective standards for material handing and movement during internal processing.

Qualifications:
Preferred Experience: All Technical aspects of wet on dry painting of steel products, packaging of large, heavy products, cleanliness & preservation of steel products. Education: 4 year technical degree or equivalent in experience

Job Summary:
Project: Working with the Purchasing Incoming Logistics manager methods / metrics to improve our delivery reliability. Background: Strong analytical skills, must have 1-2 semesters of statistical analysis, including but not limited to advance excel methods, variance analysis, correlation analysis etc. Typical Work: Charting, analyzing, running statical analysis charts, variance analysis, and introducing new measurement methods to our facility

Job Summary:
Project: Working with our MRO group to initiate cost savings projects and or help create better methods to find cost savings Background a. Work with our MRO group to find potential cost savings to target by using cost per pound, and other techniques to help paretoize largest impact projects Background b. Work with our MRO group to help establish a project that would help us to track purchase order receipts, acknowledgements etc. with the vender base through web techniques Typical Work: A: Cost per pound, exploratory quoting, panelization of supply base Typical Work B: Help to understand gaps in our purchase order placement through email, determine countermeasures, help to identify potential systems premade to assist (RFQ web applications)
