Gear Design Software
 Thanks for your interest in Fairfield's design programs. The original DOS version was first released in 1985 and several thousand copies are in use. Building on the design-centric flow of that program, we are pleased to announce the release of V8.0, an interactive web application with an enhanced user interface and added features.
The older versions will remain available for download for the present time but we urge you to try the new web version 8.0. It has many improvements and offers a real advantage.
Click on the button below to use the new software. Register the first time and just login thereafter. Program operation is easy with tool tips and an informational banner available at all times. It runs best with a broadband internet connection and has been tested with Internet Explorer 6 and 7.
Use is free and Fairfield’s privacy policy is not to monitor or retain user data from the site. The only data retained is user registration information needed for the login function. We are always here to help with engineering problems at your request, so please feel free to ask.
